Can I make a proposal?

Whether I am working in a large studio with a top notch production team or on my own with one or two programmers on an as-needed basis, I always remember that my team includes the client.

Every client is different.

There are some who are so in synch with their brand, their market, and their goals that you can plan a project almost through telepathy.

And then there are clients who aren’t quite sure why you wouldn’t want flashing signs, pop-ups and meaningful music to accompany their customer’s ‘surfing’ experience. It’s the internet! It’s supposed to be fun!

I have one main concern when I work with a new client – to make sure they understand what they are paying me to do. A satisfied client feels like they have a handle on what you’re doing, and why. The trick is to make it easy to understand and clearly define what you will deliver.
